New Delhi: The moment that millions of central government employees and pensioners have been eagerly waiting for is now near. The hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for January 2026 can be announced anytime now. Though earlier it was expected that the government would give good news in early March before the Holi festival, now according to the latest update, the announcement is likely to be made in late March or the first week of April.
