India's Congress Party Invited to Attend Funeral of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

According to sources, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the country's former Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid have been invited to attend the occasion. Khamenei's funeral will be held in several cities of Iran and Iraq from July 4 to July 9. On this occasion, dignitaries from all over the world will come to bid him a final farewell. After this invitation from Iran, discussions have now started in the Congress party. Party sources say that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge himself will decide on this invitation. Mallikarjun Kharge will decide who will go from Congress to Khamenei's funeral and which leaders will be included in the Congress delegation to Iran. According to sources, on behalf of the Government of India, Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita and Bihar Governor General (Retd) Syed Hassan Ata's daughter Damali Ali will go to Iran to bid farewell to him.
