Amid protests by the youth against the NEET paper leak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured them that the future of the youth will not be played with. Addressing the'Mangal Milan'meeting with NDA MPs, the Prime Minister informed them of the stringent action being taken in the NEET paper leak case and appealed to the Centre as well as all states to come together to put in place a leak-proof examination framework. He also spoke of the need to court good lawyers to ensure the strictest punishment for the accused in the paper leak case. Briefing the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that since the meeting was mostly on Tuesdays, the name of the meeting was'Mangal Milan '. According to Rijiju, the Prime Minister told the MPs that the government took immediate action as soon as the paper leak case came to light. 13 people were arrested and sent to jail in the CBI investigation. Also, keeping in mind the future of the students, the NEET exam was cancelled and re-conducted and the results were out on time.
