India's Union Cabinet Approves Draft Bill to Combat Paper Leaks and Exam Malpractices

The Union Cabinet today approved a draft bill to set up fast-track courts and to ensure stricter punishment in cases of paper leaks and exam malpractices. The Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House complex approved the draft bill. Sources told Akashvani News that the proposed legislation is expected to be introduced in Parliament next week.Mr Modi, in a video message yesterday, had announced that a bill containing provisions for strong action against paper leaks will be introduced in Parliament.
