According to the official statement, the ceremonies for Khamenei and his family members will be held in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad. His body will be kept in Tehran Mosalla on July 4 and 5, 2026. A ceremony will be held in Qom on July 7, 2026. Finally, Ayatollah Ali will be buried on July 9, 2026, on the 8th anniversary of the independence of the United States. The Imams will be held on the second day after the 4th to 9th of July in the largest Shiite city of Iran.
