Iran Declares New No-Go Zone Around Strait of Hormuz Amid Tensions with US

In the middle of the war in the Middle East, the US and Iran are once again at loggerheads over Hormuz. Meanwhile, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, has made a big announcement. He said in clear terms that now a new no-go zone area will be declared outside the Strait of Hormuz. It will be entered only after permission. He also made it clear that this area will start from the US Navy's Blockade Line, which will extend to parts of the Persian Gulf. If a ship passes through it without permission, it will be put on the Islamic Republic's sanctions list. Over the past several days, the US president claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open. Ships are passing through it, but Mohsen Rezaei called Trump's claim false. He said that at the moment, only 7 to 8 ships are passing through the Strait of Hormuz daily. 5 to 6 ships carrying essential supplies from Iran are now going through it without permission from the Iranian naval authorities.
