New Delhi, May 18: Iran has shared a revised peace proposal with the US to end the war in West Asia, Reuters reported on Monday, quoting a Pakistani source. Pakistani sources told the news agency, "We don't have much time." Peace talks between the two countries are on hold. Both sides appear to be changing their goals. Meanwhile, Iran said on Monday that it has responded to a peace proposal sent by the US. Both sides are engaged in talks. Iranian media described the US demand as excessive. The US said Iran will not receive any compensation for the war and the country will be allowed to retain only one nuclear site. Iran said, "We have conveyed our concerns to the US." Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei said during a press briefing, "We announced yesterday that it is also exchanging messages with the US to end the war in Iran."
