Israel-Lebanon Talks May Begin Amid Ongoing Tensions in West Asia

New Delhi તા.10: Despite US President Donald Trump's announcement of a two-week ceasefire, Israel carried out attacks in Lebanon, resulting in many deaths. It is now being reported that talks between Israel and Lebanon may begin next week at the State Department in Washington. According to sources, the US side will be led by US Ambassador to Lebanon Michele Issa, while Israel's Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter will represent the Israeli side. It is currently unclear who will represent the Lebanese side. The Iranian and US delegations will meet in Pakistan on April 11. The meeting will be held at Islamabad's Serena Hotel, which has been the focus of intense diplomatic activity. The talks are aimed at consolidating the fragile ceasefire and preventing further escalation of tensions in West Asia. Pakistan has made elaborate security arrangements for the meeting. A 30-member US team had reached Islamabad to assess the situation and how Pakistan is handling the security situation.
