Jamnagar District Elections: Official Details Released for Zila Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat, Municipal and Municipal Corporation Polls

By Mukund Badiyani, Jamnagar: The atmosphere for the 2026 elections has heated up in Jamnagar district. Official details have been released by the system for the zila panchayat, taluka panchayat, municipal and municipal corporation elections. Millions of voters will choose their representatives in this festival of democracy in rural and urban areas across the district. A total of 24 electorates under the Jamnagar zila panchayat and 112 electorates of the taluka panchayat will be up for election. A total of 712 polling stations will be set up in the district for these elections. A total of 6 5,26,569 voters have been registered at the panchayat level, including 2,74,819 men and 2,51,750 women voters. See details: * Jamnagar taluka: has the highest number of 8 zila panchayat seats, 26 taluka panchayat seats and 1,64,400 voters. * Kalavad: 87,750 voters with 4 zila panchayat and 19 taluka panchayat seats. * Lalpur: 4 zila panchayat seats and 18 taluka panchayat seats.
