Jamnagar: After the landslide victory in the Municipal Corporation of Jamnagar, the process of selection of important office bearers like Mayor and Standing Chairman has been started, in which the names will be decided keeping in mind the caste equations and upcoming elections. After the announcement of General Women Reservation for the post of Mayor for two and a half years, a competition has been started among 30 women candidates of the BJP. After the grand victory in the Municipal Corporation, the process of selection of important office bearers like Mayor and Standing Chairman has been started, in which the names will be decided keeping in mind the caste equations and the upcoming elections. With the announcement of General Women Reservation for the post of Mayor for two and a half years, there is a competition among 30 women candidates of the BJP, in which the names of Monika Vyas, Tripti Kshetiya and Nisha Aswar are being discussed vigorously. On the other hand, Parth Kotadiya and Ashish Joshi are in the race for the post of Standing Chairman, while Amar Modi, Jitu Singla and Sanjay Mongra have also started lobbying for this post.
