Janshakti Janata Dal Supports Prashant Kishor in Bankipur Assembly By-Election

A major political development has taken place in the by-election to the Bankipur assembly seat in Bihar. Tej Pratap Yadav has announced that his party Janshakti Janata Dal will support Prashant Kishor, the candidate of Jan Suraj in this by-election. The by-election to the Bankipur seat is on 30 July and the results will be announced on 3 August. Actually, a few days ago, the nomination of Janshakti Janata Dal candidate Veena Mandavi was cancelled. She had filed her nomination for the Bankipur assembly by-election, but her nomination was cancelled due to technical errors in the nomination paper. After the nomination of the candidate was cancelled, Janshakti Janata Dal did not field any other candidate. After this, the party has decided to support Prashant Kishor, the candidate of Jan Suraj. Tej Pratap Yadav said that his party will work in favor of Prashant Kishor in the Bankipur assembly by-election and will support him. This decision is being considered important in the politics of Bihar, as it is leading towards new political equations in the by-election.
