Jansuraj Party's Prashant Kishor Wins Bankipur By-Election in Bihar, Deals Blow to BJP

Jansuraj Party founder Prashant Kishor has won the by-election by 18953 votes. In this by-election, BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha has been defeated. While the RJD has slipped to the third place. After his death, Nitin Navin became the MLA by winning the by-election in 2006. Since then, he remained the MLA from this seat. However, Prashant Kishor has demolished this fortress.
