JKNC Chief Accuses Administration of Conspiracy Behind Threats to Kashmiri Pandits

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has hit out at the LG Manoj Sinha-led administration over the threats to Kashmiri Pandits. He alleges a conspiracy behind these threats. He alleges that the threats are aimed at preventing the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He asked why the Lieutenant Governor does not respond to this. To a question on the threats to Kashmiri Pandits, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said, "Who is threatening them? It is not just Kashmiri Pandits who are living here. All the officers here are Hindus who are from outside. Your DG of Police, SP are all Hindus so why are they not being threatened?" Anantnag, J & K: On recent threats to Kashmiri Pandit employees, JKNC President Dr Farooq Abdullah says,... "Who is issuing them? Do Kashmiri Pandits not live? The officers here are all Hindus and the DIG from the district, including the SPs."
