Mithilesh Thakur said that this time Chief Minister Hemant Soren recommended a CID investigation giving priority to the demands of the students and decided to cancel the examinations conducted by the TDPL. But the BJP did not like this move of the government and started politics in the guise of the students'movement. He alleged that after the agitation ended, the BJP leaders worked to provoke the students. The confusion was created among the students by saying that the government did not send a lawyer to the High Court, while many senior advocates on behalf of the government had put their side in the court. He alleged that the government had given its verdict in favour of the innocent people and that they would be punished by the court.
