JPSC Postpones 14th Combined Civil Services Main Examination Amid Allegations of Irregularities

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has postponed the 14th Combined Civil Services Main Examination, scheduled to begin on July 25, until further orders. The commission has given specific reasons behind this decision. However, this decision has come at a time when the CID is investigating the alleged irregularities in the result of the 14th Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination (PT). After the postponement of the examination, the BJP has launched a major attack on the Hemant Soren government and has intensified its demand for a CBI investigation into the entire matter. After the postponement of the examination, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey called it a victory of the opposition movement. He said, "Finally, the government bowed down to the BJP's movement. The examination has been cancelled but a CBI investigation is necessary to punish the culprits. Our struggle will continue until the white-collar is punished." The BJP says that only postponing the examination will not end the matter. Strict action should be taken against those who are responsible for the alleged irregularities in the examination and a CBI investigation should be conducted into the entire matter.
