JSSC CGL Candidates Protest Amid Rain, Demand Fair Investigation and Justice

The agitation of successful candidates at JSSC CGL continued late into the night for the third day on Wednesday amid heavy rain. The candidates, who were staging a sit-in at the gate of Project Bhawan, said that the night was difficult, but they were confident that their struggle would eventually turn into success. The candidates have demanded from the government that it can get the investigation done by any agency it wants, but the decision taken under the pressure of the mob system should be withdrawn. During the agitation, many successful candidates were seen spending the night wearing raincoats. They said that they would continue to agitate for their rights and future despite the incessant rain and adverse conditions. The candidates demanded the government to conduct a fair investigation into the whole matter and give justice on the basis of the investigation. Earlier on Wednesday evening, the successful candidates had taken out a protest march from Project Bhawan to Hatiya Bazar. According to the candidates, they had raised funds among themselves for the movement and had set up a tent costing around Rs 15,000.
