Kamal Nath Criticizes BJP Over Court Decision on Reservation

Kamal Nath said that the decision against reservation has come from the High Court due to the weak lobbying of the BJP government and the unpreparedness of the lawyers. He said that if the BJP does not want to abolish this system, then it should go to the Supreme Court with full legal preparation and official data. He said that with the implementation of EWS reservation, the issue of the 50 percent limit has automatically ended. The former Chief Minister also said that if the BJP needs any help from the Congress in this matter, they are ready to help. He said that Para 215 of the High Court's decision makes a clear reference to the Ordinance and Amendment Act of 2019. The court has considered the decisions of the then government without adequate preparation and in undue haste. The then BJP leader questioned why the government did not even delay the implementation of the sensitive issue of EWS reservation on the subject of Other Backward Classes.
