Kejriwal Attacks BJP Over Alleged Hanging House Controversy in Delhi Assembly

After appearing before the Privileges Committee, he alleged that the BJP is insulting the martyrs by raising this issue to divert attention from the real problems of Delhi. According to Kejriwal, in 2022, due to the efforts of the then Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, it was revealed that there is a place in the Delhi Assembly premises where freedom fighters were hanged during the British period. He said that after the investigation at that time, it was made public and a decision was taken to open it for tourists so that people can take inspiration from history. The advertisement alleged that the BJP government is engaged in proving that the place was not a hanging house but a tiffin room. Kejriwal said that in the committee meeting, he asked the members if it was a tiffin room, but they had no proof of it. According to him, there was a garbage dump in the Delhi Assembly premises.
