Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala politics has witnessed a major upheaval after a decade. Congress firebrand leader વી.ડી.Satheesan will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the state at 10 am on Monday. On Sunday evening, he met Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan and staked claim to form the government. Along with Satheesan, 11 other MLAs will also be sworn in as ministers in this new government led by the United Democratic Front (UDF). There is great enthusiasm in the Congress camp, which is returning to power after a long gap of 10 years. Satheesan has wisely tried to maintain social and regional balance in the formation of the new cabinet. Senior and experienced faces like Ramesh Chennithala, K. Muraleedharan and Sunny Joseph have been included in the cabinet, while young leadership પી.સી. Vishnunath and Rosy M. John have also been included.
