(By Sanjay Dewani) Keshod Dt. 24: Local body elections are going to be held in Keshod Vidhan Sabha constituency on Sunday, the 26th. A total of 163 candidates are contesting from 35 seats out of 9 wards of the local municipality. 92 from 18 wards of Keshod Taluka Panchayat. 58 from 18 wards of Keshod Taluka Panchayat. 13 from 4 seats of the district panchayat (Agtarai, Ajab, Balagam and Meswan Milli) belonging to Keshod constituency. In this election, there is a direct fight between BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. In Keshod constituency, a three-way fight is going on. Talking about the local municipality, BJP is contesting 35 seats out of 35 seats remaining uncontested, 33 from Congress and 24 from Aam Aadmi Party. A total of 92 candidates are contesting from 9 wards. In the current electoral battle, apart from three political parties, BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, there is no presence of any other regional or national party.
