Ladakh Talks Move Towards Concrete Solution: Former President

According to Thiksey Rinpoche Nawang Chamba Stanzin, former president of the Ladakh Gompa Association, it is not just a matter of giving representation to two individuals in the talks. It is a question of taking different political and social currents in Ladakh together and giving wider acceptance to any consensus that may be reached in the future. That is what we are all striving for. The September meeting is better. The long-standing talks between the Centre and Ladakh representatives are now moving towards a concrete political and constitutional solution. Earlier meetings have been held in Leh in July and August.
