Madhya Pradesh Government Launches Scholarship Scheme to Connect with New Generation

The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh is now trying to connect with the new generation through Bhagwan Shrikrishna. The government has decided to launch the Bhagwan Shrikrishna Meritorious Scholarship Scheme. Under this scheme, 102 meritorious students of the state will be given a scholarship of one lakh rupees each. The government says that the purpose of the scheme is not only to honor the students who score well in the examination, but also to encourage art, skill, Indian knowledge tradition and multidimensional talent. Under the scheme, students will be evaluated on standards inspired by Bhagwan Shrikrishna's concept of 64 arts and 14 sciences. School, college and university level students will be selected. The detailed outline of the scheme will be prepared by the Shrikrishna Patheya Trust, which will decide the eligibility, selection process and evaluation criteria. The government claims that this will connect the new generation with Indian culture and its glorious history. The cultural advisor to the chief minister, Shri Ram Tiwari, also discusses the scheme.
