Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress Suspends Officials for Absence from Rally

Youth Congress in Madhya Pradesh has taken a major action regarding organizational discipline. According to Saurabh Sharma, 60 office bearers including nine district presidents have been suspended for not attending Congress's'Vote Chori'rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on 1 November. In this action, Maihar District Youth Congress President Saurabh Sharma has also come under this action. Notably, Saurabh Sharma has cited the traditional program organized in his family after the birth of his nephew as the reason for not attending the rally. After the suspension, Saurabh Sharma has defended himself saying that his elder brother Nitin Sharma had a son. In this happiness, the traditional program of'Barho'was organized in the family. Due to a family event at home, he could not attend the rally held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan. According to Saurabh Sharma, the party considered his absence as indiscipline and has taken action against him for this reason. However, he has also clarified that the decision of the party's top leadership is completely acceptable to him.
