Maharashtra Government Urged to Release White Paper on Special Investigation Teams

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government should come out with a clear stand on the status of the Special Investigation Teams (SITs) set up in the last five sessions and release a detailed white paper on it. Uddhav Sena MLA Anil Parab raised the issue of lack of transparency in the SIT set up in view of the demands raised by the opposition as well as the ruling members in the last week's discussion in the House केली.विधान conference. Anil Parab said that the SITs have been set up but when will their reports be submitted and if they are not available yet, the government should come out with a clear and transparent white paper on all the SITs set up in the last five sessions including this session. He demanded that the white paper should include information about all the SITs, their current status and the action taken report so far. If the government really wants to bring out the truth and curb corruption, it should accept this demand. This is the fifth session and the ruling members along with the opposition have raised several demands during this period.
