Mahayuti Coalition Sees Fresh Tension Over Unilateral Decision by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

The ruling coalition Mahayuti in Maharashtra has once again seen tension. This tension is between the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Eknath Shinde faction. Actually, the decision taken by the Shiv Sena minister has now been changed by CM Fadnavis, which has angered the Shiv Sena. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has given auto rickshaw and taxi drivers a year to learn basic Marathi. However, this decision is now likely to be mired in controversy. According to sources, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a unilateral decision without taking the Transport Minister into confidence, which is said to have angered Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Shiv Sena ministers. Angry ministers question why cabinet meetings are held if the Chief Minister has to take unilateral decisions. In the last one and a half years, the Chief Minister has taken many decisions without taking the Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) ministers involved in the Mahayuti into confidence. Due to all these cases, the displeasure of many ministers has now come out in the open.
