Mamata Banerjee Accuses BJP of Hooliganism Amid Kali Puja Celebrations

Soon after the incident, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached Kalighat early in the morning and sat on a dharna. Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, directly accusing it of hooliganism. She said that a conspiracy is being hatched to deliberately disturb the atmosphere just before a holy festival like Kali Puja and Diwali. Mamata Banerjee accused the administration of cancelling permission for old traditional pujas of her area and wrongly approving a new puja at a right turn of the road so as to block the way for TMC workers. If you have the guts to run a bulldozer, why attack Kali Puja celebrations by bringing a team of goons at 3 pm?
