The Trinamool Congress has been attacking the BJP ever since it was ousted from power in West Bengal. Former Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the new BJP government led by Suvendu Adhikari, alleging that minority communities and roadside hawkers were being deliberately targeted in the state. Chairing a crucial meeting of TMC MLAs at her residence, Banerjee said, "This government is playing with our constitutional ideas and values. But remember, in the coming days, the BJP will also be ousted from power in Delhi (Centre)." Mamata launched a scathing attack on the Suvendu Adhikari-led state government, saying, "This government is tampering with our constitutional ideas and values." She claimed that the BJP-led government at the Centre will not last long. "In the coming days, the BJP will be removed from power in Delhi." Abhishek Banerjee, the national general secretary of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (TMC), was also present at the meeting.
