Mamata Banerjee Makes Surprise Job Offer Amid IPAC Controversy in West Bengal

Kolkata: West Bengal politics is hotting up over IPAC (Indian Political Action Committee). On Sunday, at a huge public meeting held at Tarakeswar, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a very surprising announcement. She said from a public platform, "If any employee of IPAC loses his job, I will give him work." Mamata alleged that the BJP is trying to intimidate and drive away from Bengal its only strategic team through its 50 central agencies. This statement came at a time when media reports were doing the rounds that IPAC is wrapping up its work in Bengal, which the Trinamool Congress has vehemently denied.
