Mamata Reaffirms Confidence in Nephew Abhishek as TMC National General Secretary

In a crucial meeting of the Trinamool Congress, Mamata Banerjee has once again expressed confidence in the leadership of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. Despite opposition from rebel MLAs, Mamata has appointed Abhishek Banerjee as the national general secretary of the Trinamool Congress (TMC). Mamata Banerjee will remain the national president of the TMC.
