Massive protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) have been going on at Jantar Mantar in the national capital for the last one month against the NEET exam paper leak and student suicides. Activist Sonam Wangchuk also went on a 25-day hunger strike demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a large number of students took out a Parliament Chalo March against the government on Monday (July 20, 2026). Delhi Police resorted to lathicharge and also detained several people after the protesters raised slogans and pelted stones.
