Maulana Tauqeer Raza's Bail Plea Opposed by Prosecution Over Bareilly Violence

Opposing the bail plea, the prosecution had told the court that the violence after namaz in Bareilly on September 26 was orchestrated. There were arson, firing and attacks on police at several places in the city. Tauqeer Raza had a major role behind the violence. Reports were filed in 10 cases related to the violence. Maulana Tauqeer Raza is named in all of them. The police have named him as the mastermind of the violence. The prosecution argued that Tauqeer Raza has been framed under political pressure. There is no concrete basis for the allegations. The investigation in the case is complete. He should be given the benefit of bail. After hearing both sides, the court has reserved its order on Maulana Tauqeer Raza's bail.
