Middle East Crisis: US-Israel Attack on Iran Disrupts Flights, Sparks Red Alert

New Delhi: The situation in the Middle East has become extremely explosive after the US and Israel's attack on Iran. International flight schedules have been disrupted as Israel has closed its airspace for security reasons with immediate effect. The biggest impact of this war was seen on Air India flight AI 139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv. As soon as the aircraft was in the air, the pilot decided to take a'U-turn'mid-air to bring the aircraft back to India safely for the safety of the passengers. The war sirens are echoing throughout the region as missiles are fired in a counter-attack on Israel. The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a'Red Alert'for Indians residing there. The Embassy has strongly urged all citizens to stay close to designated shelters and avoid non-essential travel. The situation is so serious that the Indian Embassy in Jordan has also requested that Indian passengers should leave the country as soon as possible.
