Modi Holds Cabinet Meeting to Review Progress and Strategy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a big meeting with all his ministers on Thursday evening. The meeting lasted for about four and a half hours. It discussed many big issues related to the progress of the country, the work of the ministries was seen and further strategy was decided. The meeting started at'Seva Tirtha'at 5 pm and lasted for four and a half hours. It was attended by all the cabinet ministers of the central government, ministers of state with independent charge and the rest of the ministers of state. It was the first full cabinet meeting of this year. Also, it took place when the Modi government is about to complete two years of its third term. According to sources, this meeting was a kind of'mid-term review'of the government. What different ministries did, what big decisions were taken in the last few months, what was the result and what to be done next was discussed. 9 ministries presented their work in the meeting. The Commerce Ministry gave a presentation. After this, the important work of the Petroleum, Home, and Finance Ministries was also divided into four parts.
