Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday evening held a high-level meeting via video conferencing with chief ministers of all poll-bound states. According to news agency PTI, the main objective of the meeting is to coordinate between the Centre and the states so that'Team India'is prepared to deal with the crisis. On Monday, the prime minister had warned the Lok Sabha that the geopolitical crisis could be prolonged. States need to be especially careful about coastal security, cyber security and strategic infrastructure. The virtual blockade of the Strait of Hormuz due to the war has caused panic among the general public. However, on Thursday, the Union Petroleum Ministry once again clarified that the country has enough fuel stocks. India currently has around 74 per cent of its oil reserves to meet the next normal domestic supply of LPG.
