On the occasion of completion of 25 years of public service and dedication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a grand closing ceremony of'Varanasi to Vadnagar Seva Yatra'under the nationwide'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'was held in Vadnagar on Wednesday. The closing ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi. On this occasion, the dignitaries welcomed the bikers and service passengers from different states. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said at the closing ceremony of'Varanasi to Vadnagar Seva Yatra'that on 7 October 2001, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assumed the responsibility of service as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Today the Prime Minister has achieved the distinction of being the longest serving public leader in the country by performing the responsibility of public service and good governance for 25 consecutive years. He has considered power as a means of service and not a post. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the poor, middle class, farmers, women and youth power has transformed the Prime Minister into a vibrant citizen and partner in the development of the country through the Gujarat Earthquake Summit.
