Mohammad Ali Jauhar University Receives Temporary Relief from Demolition Order in Uttar Pradesh

Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, has received a major relief. The Rampur Development Authority's (RDA) order to demolish 38 buildings of the university has been stayed for the time being. A hearing in the case was scheduled on July 28 at the Moradabad commissioner's office, but could not be heard due to a strike due to a mourning holiday. Moradabad Divisional Commissioner Anjaneya Kumar Singh granted interim relief to the application made by the university. After this order, the bulldozing of 38 buildings of Jauhar University has been postponed for the time being. Now in the next hearing of the case, it will be decided that the demolition order of the development authority will be upheld or any changes will be made in it. Earlier, Dr. Tanzeen Fatima, wife of senior Samajwadi Party leader Mohammad Azam Khan, who is in Rampur jail, reached the jail for a meeting. Her elder son Adeeb Azam and SP district president Ajay Sagar were present. After a meeting of about an hour, the wife of Rampur MP Azam Khan and former students of Rampur told reporters that she will soon reach the event.
