Former UP minister Azam Khan's Jauhar University will not be bulldozed for the time being. The Moradabad commissioner has stayed the decision of the Rampur DM. Let us tell you that 38 out of 40 biggings of Jauhar University have been found illegal. After the investigation, the DM of Rampur had ordered the demolition of illegal buildings, after which a large number of students gathered outside Jauhar University and started demonstrating. Meanwhile, the Moradabad commissioner has issued an order and stayed the decision of the Rampur DM. This is a big relief for Azam Khan's Jauhar University. After the appeal of the university, the bulldozer action has been stopped until the final decision. Let us tell you that Jauhar University is Azam Khan's dream project. He founded it in 2006 when he was a minister in the Mulayam Singh government. Jauhar University was founded on 18 September 2006 but the Samajwadi Party government left UP. Azam Khan was not a minister, so it could not be inaugurated even after 6 years. Akhilesh Yadav became the Chief Minister of Rampur University in 2012.
