(By Praveen Vyas) Morbi, Dec 27: The voting process for a total of 24 seats of Morbi Zila Panchayat has been completed. The voter turnout in this election has been recorded as high as 71.09%. After the peaceful completion of the polling process, claims of victory are now being made by all the three major political parties. In an interaction with the leaders, leaders of BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party gave feedback about their party's position. District BJP President Jayanti Rajkotia said that the BJP got 16 seats in the Zila Panchayat in the last term, which is expected to increase to 18 to 20 seats this time. Talking about the mood of the voters, she said that due to the strength and good leadership of the party, people are moving towards development. People are believing that no other party can do development work except BJP. District Congress Working President Nayan Aghara said that in view of the current situation, the mood of the voters in the Zila Panchayat is against 14 to 16 seats.
