The Associated Press and the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research survey found that 60 percent of Americans believe Trump is using his office to make personal profit. People also believe he is prioritizing his own financial interests over the needs of ordinary citizens. However, the White House rejected the allegations, saying Trump is working for the country with integrity. According to the survey, only 20 percent believe Trump is doing nothing wrong. Nearly 50 percent say he has prioritized his personal financial interests after returning to the White House for a second term. 25 percent believe Trump is giving equal importance to the country and his financial interests. 56 percent of those surveyed say Trump is more focused on his personal business, while 54 percent believe he is focusing on business interests than friends and family. About 10 percent of those surveyed said Trump is more focused on his personal interests than they were in a second term.
