Mumbai Youth Congress Protests Outside State Election Commission, Demands CEC Resignation

In Mumbai, Youth Congress workers protested outside the office of the State Election Commission. Congress workers also tried to pour ink and black ink on the commission's board. Protesters were demanding the resignation of the Central Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Police have increased security outside the commission office in view of the protest. Police also detained the protesting Congress workers. In fact, the workers led by the Mumbai Youth Congress team took to the streets and shouted slogans. Congress alleges that the SIR of the voter list was tampered with and CEC Gyanesh Kumar is acting arbitrarily in the Election Commission and is not listening to the two other commissioners.
