The total estimated operating deficit of the PMP during the year has been estimated at ₹1 crore. As per the directions of the Government, 60% of the deficit is to be borne by the Municipal Corporation. Accordingly, ₹2 crore has been allocated. This provision has been made in the Municipal Budget under the heading'Share of Operating Deficit of PMP ', informed Shrinath Bhimale, Chairman of the Standing Committee.
