The committee approved a proposal to build a hi-tech library at village Hayatpur at a cost of Rs 7 crore and a convention hall within the Panchayat Bhawan at Harsaru village. The meeting was chaired by Mayor Dr. Inderjit Kaur Yadav. The Finance and Contract Committee approved a 3 MLD capacity STP plant at Bhangraula at a cost of about Rs 8.6 crore. Water and sewer lines will be laid in various wards, construction of roads, improvement of streets and community facilities.
