Mysterious Strikes on Iran Continue Despite US Halt in Attacks

An important question has arisen as to who is targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran even after the United States stopped its attacks on Iran. The mysterious and unclaimed airstrikes on Iran after the United States announced a halt to its attacks have taken the Iranian administration by surprise. The strikes on Thursday came as Iran was preparing to bury the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei; the strikes hit several areas in southern Iran. Iran has not directly blamed anyone for the attacks, although a lawmaker has warned the United Arab Emirates that it has allegedly helped in the US campaign against Iran. But surprisingly, the strikes on Iran have happened again shortly after the United States announced them. Iranian news agencies and state media have not responded to several requests for comment about the airstrikes targeting the country's Bushehr and Sistan-Baluchistan provinces, the cities of Ahvaz and Chabahar, and other areas, and the Central Command of Iran on Thursday.
