Nagaon Vidhan Sabha Chunav Result 2026 Live Updates: Counting of votes is underway in Nagaon Assembly (now Nagaon-Batadrava) seat. It is one of the 126 Assam Legislative Assembly constituencies located in Nagaon district. It got its name Nagaon-Batadroba after the 2023 delimitation. Currently, the seat is held by Roopak Sarmah of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who won in the 2016 and 2021 elections. Roopak defeated Shantanu Sarma of the Congress by a margin of 11,083 votes.
