Nagpur to Host World-Class Convention Center by 2029

A world-class multi-purpose'Convention & Exhibition Center'will be built in Nagpur, the capital of Maharashtra for international and national level conferences, exhibitions and business events. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that this ambitious project will give a new impetus to Nagpur's economic development, tourism, industries and employment generation. He has given strict targets to the officials to make this project fully ready and operational by the year 2029. An important review and presentation meeting regarding this convention center was held at Sahyadri Guest House under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Chief Secretary Rajesh Agarwal, CEO of'Mitra'Pardeshi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Lokesh Chandra, Managing Director of MADC Deepak Kapoor, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Shrikar Pardeshi, Nagpur Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vipin Itankar were also present in this meeting.
