Nepal's Gandaki Province Legalizes Cannabis Cultivation and Medical Use

Gandaki Province of Nepal has taken a major decision regarding the cultivation of cannabis. It may be illegal to possess or grow cannabis in the national laws of है.नेपाल, but the government of Gandaki Province has given a green signal to its medical use and cultivation. The special thing is that Gandaki Province borders Bihar's West Champaran district Valmiki Nagar in India. There is already a ban on alcohol in Bihar, so everyone's eyes are on this new decision of Nepal. According to the APA news agency, this new law has come into effect after the approval of the Gandaki Province Chief. Gandaki has become the first province in Nepal to do so. This law has received full support from both the ruling party and the opposition in the province assembly. However, this does not mean that any person will be able to sell or drink cannabis openly. According to the new rules, the cultivation of cannabis will be done only for medical purposes. The farmers will have to take a license from the government.
