Nepal's PM Balen Shah to Wear Dark Sunglasses in Parliament Due to Medical Reasons

Nepal's Prime Minister Balen Shah will attend the proceedings of the parliament on Wednesday and answer the questions of the parliamentarians directly. However, Balen Shah, who is reaching the parliament on the summons of the speaker, will also not take off his dark glasses in the parliament. Actually, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal had banned wearing dark goggles in the parliament, but PM Shah has found a solution. According to Nepali media reports, Balen Shah recently came to the Birendra Military Hospital in Chhauni to get his eyes checked. There the association professor Lt. Col. Dr. Sachit Dhakal examined him. Actually, the doctors have found Balen Shah suffering from light sensitivity and dry eyes. For this, he has been advised to wear regular eye drops and dark sunglasses for eye protection. The Prime Minister's Office has sent this medical report and recommendations to the Federal Parliament Secretariat. On 6 August, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal told all political parties that Balen Shah will not be allowed to wear black glasses during the medical proceedings of the parliament for medical reasons.
