Nepal's Supreme Court Issues Show-Cause Notice Over Arrest of Former PM KP Sharma Oli

Extensions Follow WhatsApp Channels Supreme Court of Nepal has issued a show-cause notice to the newly formed Balendra Shah government over the arrest and detention of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The court has sought an explanation from the government in this regard. Shakya had sought the immediate release of her husband in the petition. However, the single bench of Justice Meghraj Pokharel refused to grant immediate relief to the former prime minister.
