NGT Cracks Down on Illegal Vehicle Washing Centers in Noida and Greater Noida

The report had raised the issue of large-scale wastage of water at washing centres in Noida. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has taken a strong view of the crackdown on illegal vehicle washing centres operating in Noida and Greater Noida. It has also sought a detailed report from the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) and the Uttar Pradesh Ground Water Department on the action taken against these centres.
