Nitish Kumar Takes Oath in Rajya Sabha, Bihar Politics in Flux

Today is going to be a historic day for Bihar politics. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who has been at the helm of Bihar for a long time, will take oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha at 12:15 this afternoon. Rajya Sabha Chairman Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan will administer him the oath of membership of the Upper House. After taking oath, Nitish Kumar will return to Patna from Delhi this evening itself, after which the process of formation of the new government in the state will speed up. With Nitish Kumar going to the Rajya Sabha, the suspense over the name of the new Chief Minister in Bihar has deepened. Meanwhile, posters have been put up outside the BJP office in Patna declaring Samrat Chaudhary as the new CM of Bihar before Nitish Kumar's swearing-in. Some of these posters were removed by the party office staff on which the name of'Valmiki Samaj'was written. Today, the BJP has called a big meeting of the'Core Group'in Delhi regarding the form and leadership of the new government. In this meeting, the central leadership of the BJP will be present with the central leaders of Bihar. According to Vijay Kumar, the name of both the Deputy Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar are present in
